ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Employer acknowledges the right of the Union shall name a Shop Committee of not more than five to appoint or elect from amongst employees who have completed their probationary period, up to four (54) members, stewards at least one (1) of which shall be from each of the who following areas: Vocational Day Programme; Residential Programme. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. Request for positive space passes for Union or for business shall be given serious consideration by the Company upon request from the Component President. All passes issued in accordance with this Article shall only be used in the execution of their Union duties. Where one of the official Union representatives or Committee members is released at the Union's request, or under the provisions of the foregoing paragraphs, any from which was released will be awarded or assigned in the regular manner. The Union will not be charged for those flights from which the Committeemembers were released in order to discuss with the Company's representatives. This provision applies to the maximum of the Committee members as outlined above. It is understood that the Union representatives have their regular duties to perform his on behalf of the Company. In order to be exempt from flight duties to perform Union functions, the Union must provide a written request to their superior stating the date of return to regular duties. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Union shall name elect or otherwise select up to eight (8) members of the bargaining units, who shall function as the Union Committee. One of the representatives so selected or elected will be the Union Chairperson. The Union shall furnish the Employer from time to time with an update on the current Union Committee representatives. The Union Chairperson will be assigned to the day shift unless mutually agreed otherwise by the parties. If the Chairperson is not working on the day shift she will exchange her shift with the least senior employee on the day in her classification. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select Shop Stewards for the purpose of representing Employees in the handling of grievances arising under this Agreement. The Employer agrees to recognize three (3) Shop Stewards for each of the day, afternoon, and night shifts. The Employer shall name be in writing by the Union of the names of the Union Executive, Shop Stewards, Safety Committee Members and Grievance Committee Members of the fifteenth (15th) of January and June annually. The Employer agrees to recognize and deal with a Shop Committee Union grievance of not more than five two (52) members, at least one (1) of which shall be from Employees plus the who shall be employees of the Company covered by this AgreementUnit Chairperson. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Business Manager and/or Business Representative of the Local Union and/or Council shall have access to all jobs of each Employer during working hours, but in no case shall his visits unduly interfere with the progress of work. Before leaving their work place to fulfil their obligations, the Plant Chairman, Zone Committeemen and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ must obtain prior authorization from their supervisor, this authorization will not be unreasonably refused or delayed. In addition, before entering the section of the supervisor other than their own, they will advise him of their presence and obtain his authorization and this authorization will not be reasonably refused or delayed. After having obtained the services of their ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall committeeman in the appropriate manner, employees who must leave their work place to consult with him or to participate in the discussion of a complaint or grievance with representatives of Management will be permitted the necessary time during working hours to do so without loss of pay as long as such consultation or such discussion is held as close as possible to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement their work place. Reasonable periods of a complaint or grievance; he shall not leave his work station except as provided time spent by the said Article Union Committee attending collective agreement negotiations with the Company representatives, the conciliator and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his businessall other meetings involving collective agreement renewal. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Employer and the Union agree that there will be seven (7) stewards (one each from kitchen, laundry, housekeeping and care staff, also one from the afternoon shift, one from the night shift) and one Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ selected who may assist the employees in presenting their grievances to the representatives of the Employer. The Union agrees to keep the Employer advised as to their names and any changes thereto, such notification to be given by the Union no later than ten working days from the time of the appointment. The two (2) members of the functions herein provided in such manner as Negotiating Committee shall be paid their regular rate for all regularly scheduled working hours lost due to promote good order and shop discipline and attending negotiation meetings with the least possible interference Employer, up to and including Conciliation; with the regular duties Union reimbursing the Employer for of their employmentall costs as related thereto. An employee on site who is subject to disciplinary action which is to be recorded in the employee’s personnel file shall have the right to the presence of a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.
