Articulation Arrangements. This agreement relates to an approved Articulation Arrangement between the courses at HEE TVW and the degree programme at University of Kent. With such an arrangement, successful completion of specified work at HEE TVW may permit direct entry to a specified programme at University of Kent. HEE TVW students admitted with advance standing onto a University of Kent programme (as detailed in Memorandum of Agreement) will be awarded University of Kent credit, based on an assessment of the level and volume of relevant prior learning; Any APL protocol must be ratified by the Faculty Committee of the University prior to the admission of any cohort of student to a University of Kent programme by this means. Each institution is responsible for the management and standards of the awards issued in its name. There is no requirement for joint management processes. Assessment decisions are made solely by the awarding institution with no input from the institution at which the student obtained credit, which provided advance standing onto the programme of the awarding institution The specific details (APL protocol) of where University of Kent recognises credits awarded at HEE TVW for the purpose of admission with advance standing are provided in Annex 2.
