ASSESSMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF RESOURCES AND ABILITY TO RENDER ASSISTANCE. When contacted by a Requesting Party, a Point of Contact of the Party from whom Regional Mutual Aid is requested agrees to assess local resources to determine availability of personnel, equipment and other assistance to respond to the request. A Responding Party is not required to provide Regional Mutual Aid assistance unless the Responding Party determines that the Responding Party has sufficient resources to provide assistance, based on current or anticipated events in its jurisdiction.
