Common use of Assignment and Modification Clause in Contracts

Assignment and Modification. Any and all modifications, alterations, or amendments to the provisions of this Agreement must be by means of a written amendment that refers to and incorporates this Agreement, is duly executed by an authorized representative of each party, and is approved by the Board of Estimates, if necessary. No modifications, alterations, or amendments of this Agreement are valid and enforceable unless the above requirements have been satisfied.
