ASSIGNMENT AND SUB-CONTRACTING. 13.1 ‌ 8.1 The Supplier Contractor shall not without the written consent of the Customer Authority assign, sub-sub- contract, novate or in any way dispose of the benefit and/ or the burden of this Agreement the Contract or any part thereofof the Contract. The Customer Authority may, in the granting of such consent, provide for additional terms and conditions relating to such assignment, sub-contract, novation or disposal. The Supplier Contractor shall be responsible for the acts and omissions of its sub-contractors as though those acts and omissions were its own. 13.2 Where 8.2 If the Supplier Contractor enters into a subSub-contract with a supplier or contractor Contract for the purpose of performing its obligations under this Agreementthe Contract, it shall ensure that a provision is included in such a sub-contract which requires payment to be made of all sums due by the Supplier Contractor to the subCub-contractor Contractor within a specified period not exceeding 30 days from the receipt of a valid invoice. 13.3 Where 8.3 If the Customer Authority has consented to the placing of sub- contracts copies of each subSub-contractContracts, the Contractor shall: (a) impose obligations on its Sub-Contractor on the same terms as those imposed on it pursuant to this Contract and shall procure that the Sub-Contractor complies with such terms; and (b) provide a copy at the request of the Customer, be sent no charge to the Supplier to Authority, of any Sub-Contract, on receipt of a request for such by the Customer as soon as reasonably practicableAuthority. 13.4 8.4 The Customer Authority may assign, novate, or otherwise dispose of its rights and obligations under this Agreement the Contract without the consent of the Supplier Contractor provided that such assignment, novation or disposal shall not increase the burden of the SupplierContractor’s obligations under this Agreementthe Contract.
