Common use of Assignment; Delegation Clause in Contracts

Assignment; Delegation. The Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the City and the Grantee and their respective successors and assigns, provided however, that no right or interest in the Agreement shall be assigned and no obligation shall be delegated by the Grantee without the prior written consent of the City. Any attempted assignment or delegation by the Grantee shall be void unless made in conformity with this paragraph.
