Common use of Assignment of Orphan Drug Designation Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Orphan Drug Designation. Except to the extent prohibited by the Biologics Regulatory Scheme, Diacrin hereby assigns and Diacrin and Genzyme hereby agree to assign to Diacrin/Genzyme LLC any "Orphan Drug" designations for any Collaboration Products which Diacrin has received or Diacrin or Genzyme may receive during the term of this Agreement.
