Assignment of Students. All permanent full-time and permanent part-time employees who wish to enroll their children at a school site closest to the employee's permanent assigned work location shall not be prohibited from doing so, as long as the requested student transfer does not exceed the caps, as established by Board Policy 5131 -- Student Transfers, except as deemed appropriate by the Division of Attendance Services. No student transfer shall be authorized under any circumstances that will have a negative impact on student racial ratios or which will exceed 115 percent of permanent program capacity when an administrative transfer is sought.
Assignment of Students. 23.04.1 Designated Home/Hospital teachers will be required to accept a minimum of three full-time students (or equivalent to 18 hours per week) at all times during the school year.
23.04.2 The following shall be the criteria (in priority order) used for assigning students:
a. Designated Home/Hospital teachers will receive assignments until all teachers have at least three full-time students (or equivalent to 18 hours per week). When assigning additional students beyond three, the administrator shall first consider, but not be limited to, Designated Home/Hospital teachers. The final decision shall rest with the program administrator.
b. The instructor’s previous experience working with a particular student and/or family (not to exceed three at any one time).
c. The type of credential held by an instructor.
d. The number of students an instructor is currently serving (equalize case loads).
e. Seniority.
23.04.3 Nothing in this section shall prohibit members from voluntarily reducing their case load. If a Designated Home/Hospital teacher wishes to reduce his/her case load below three students, he/she shall resign from the current contract and convert to a certificated substitute working in an extra assignment capacity.
23.04.4 Once a Designated Home/Hospital teacher has three full-time students, members shall have the right to refuse to accept an assignment of a student. In this event, the member may be required to meet with the site/program administrator to discuss the issue. Should all members refuse to accept a student, the District shall have the right to assign the student.
23.04.5 Exceptions to the assignment criteria (23.04.2, a-e) may be made by the program administrator for curriculum, emergency or safety/health purposes only. If a member wishes to have such a decision explained, the program administrator upon request shall meet with a representative of SJTA to clarify the decision. The program administrator shall not act in an arbitrary or capricious manner.
Assignment of Students. 1. The assignment of students to classes shall be effected whenever possible in a manner consonant with the best interests of each student. Teacher recommendations on such assignments should be discussed with the building principal.
2. The class size limitations set forth above shall not preclude different groupings for specific instructional purposes. As additional facilities become available to accommodate smaller classes, the class size limitations set forth above shall be reviewed further.
Assignment of Students. Students subject to this Agreement are assigned to Facility by School Board for the purpose of developing the Student’s clinical competence (knowledge, procedures/skills, clinical problem solving, and professional attitudes and behaviors).
Assignment of Students. 1. When assigning students for the following year, the Administration will make every attempt to balance classes within an elementary grade level according to the following criteria:
a. Number of students b. Gender of students
Assignment of Students. The School shall assign its students (“Students”) who are enrolled in the School Program to serve at the Institute as part of the Students' clinical rotations. (The term “School” shall include other training organizations such as hospitals. Where appropriate, trainees shall be referred to here as Students.) While at the Institute, the Students shall provide services to patients as requested and supervised by the Institute’s designated supervisor and in accordance with Institute protocol. The number of Students to be assigned, the practice areas of assignment and the Students' schedules shall be determined by agreement between School and the Institute. The Institute and the School may assign Students placed at the Institute to other facilities in furtherance of such Students clinical training.
Assignment of Students. The parties recognize that class size and workloads can have an effect upon the educational process as well as the working conditions of employees. To the extent possible, in order to best serve all students’ needs, class assignments shall be equitable among staff and take into consideration the unique characteristics and needs of students. Considerations shall include IEP students, Multi-Language Learner (MLL) students, 504 students, behavior concerns, number of students in each class/section, etc.
Assignment of Students. The number of Students to be assigned to Company pursuant to the Program and the dates and location of their specific work cycles/rotations, as well as the number of Students assigned to any single Pharmacy will be agreed upon in writing by College and Company prior to any such assignment. College shall provide Company with not less than sixty (60) days prior written notice of any proposed assignment of a Student to a Pharmacy.
Assignment of Students. Commencing on the date set forth in Article X. Term, and subject to the provisions in Section II above, NAME in cooperation with AFFILIATE may assign STUDENTS at AFFILIATE’s sites.
Assignment of Students. The University and the School shall mutually agree in a timely fashion as to the approximate number of students eligible to participate in the Field-based Clinical Education Program at any given time and the schedule for the students.
