Common use of Assignment of Teachers Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Teachers. Teaching assignments may be made at the discretion of the Director or his/her designee. Assignments shall be made in the best interests of the District and shall not be made for an arbitrary, capricious, or vindictive reason. Reasons for change in an assignment may include but are not limited to the following: 11.1.1 The need to provide particular course offerings for students as determined by the Director; 11.1.2 Adjustment for imbalances due to changing enrollment within the Adult School; 11.1.3 Changes in educational program as determined by the Director.
