Assignments and Vacancies. ‌ 3.7.1 Definitions of Assignment or Transfer – An "assignment" is defined as the placement of an employee within one classification within one school building in the P-5 program or specialty area (e.g., an itinerant ▇▇▇▇ position). A "transfer" is a placement of an employee outside the employee's current classification or building. The move of a classroom (which does not involve a change of evaluator) or an entire program from one building to another will not constitute a transfer or change of assignment.
