Assistance on request. 1. The Customs Administrations shall assist each other in the areas within their competences, in the manner and under the conditions laid down in this Agreement, to ensure that Customs legislation is correctly applied and the customs duties and taxes are assessed accurately. 2. The Customs Administrations shall upon request supply any information showing that: a) Goods and currency values imported into the territory of the State of one Contracting Party have been lawfully exported from the territory of the State of the other Contracting Party, specifying where appropriate, the customs procedure applied to the goods; b) goods and currency values exported from the territory of the State of one Contracting Party have been lawfully imported into the territory of the State of the other Contracting Party, specifying where appropriate, the customs procedure applied to the goods c) goods in transit have passed customs clearance in the territory of the State of one Contracting Party .
