ATP Sample Clauses

The ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) clause defines the process and criteria by which a product, system, or service is tested to confirm it meets specified requirements before final acceptance. Typically, this clause outlines the steps for conducting tests, the standards or benchmarks to be used, and the responsibilities of each party during the testing phase. For example, it may require the supplier to demonstrate the product’s functionality in the presence of the buyer or a third-party inspector. The core function of the ATP clause is to ensure that deliverables conform to agreed-upon specifications, thereby reducing the risk of disputes and ensuring quality before formal acceptance and payment.
