Audit of Records. CONSULTANT agrees that CITY, or designee, has the right to review, obtain, and copy all records pertaining to the performance of this Agreement. CONSULTANT agrees to provide CITY, or designee, with any relevant information requested and will permit CITY, or designee, access to its premises, upon reasonable notice, during normal business hours for the purpose of interviewing employees and inspecting and copying such books, records, accounts, and other material that may be relevant to a matter under investigation for the purpose of determining compliance with this Agreement. CONSULTANT further agrees to maintain such records for a period of three (3) years following final payment under this Agreement. CONSULTANT will keep all books, records, accounts and documents pertaining to this Agreement separate from other activities unrelated to this Agreement.
Audit of Records. Consultant shall maintain complete and accurate records of all payrolls, expenditures, disbursements and other cost items charged to the City or establishing the basis for an invoice, for a minimum of four years from the date of final payment to Consultant. All such records shall be clearly identifiable. Consultant shall allow City representatives to inspect, examine, copy and audit such records during regular business hours upon 24 hours’ notice.
Audit of Records. Consultant shall make all records, invoices, time cards, cost control sheets and other records maintained by Consultant in connection with this agreement available during Consultant’s regular working hours to City for review and audit by City.
Audit of Records. The CONSULTANT shall make available at its office at all times requested retained records and records involved with disputes, litigation or settlement of claims for examination, audit, and/or reproduction by the STATE without conditions of any type. Audits shall be performed in accordance with Article 58 of the Standard Terms and Conditions. The STATE may, at its option, perform audits throughout the retained records period and may, at its option reaudit all or parts of costs previously audited.

The parties agree that the County or its agent must have reasonable access to and the right to examine any records of the contractor involving transactions related to the contract or compliance with any clauses thereunder, for a period of three (3) years after final payment. The contractor shall include these same provisions in all related subcontracts. For purposes of this clause, the term “records” includes documents, and papers regardless of whether they are in written form, electronic form, or any other form.

For purpose of an audit, the Consultant shall maintain all those records relating to direct costs and expenses incurred under this Agreement, including but not limited to invoices, payrolls, bills, receipts, etc. These records must be available at all reasonable times to the Sponsor, MoDOT, the FAA, and the Comptroller General of the United States or their designees and representatives, at the Consultant's offices, at no charge, during the Agreement period and any extension thereof, and for the three (3) year period following the date of final payment made under this Agreement. If the Sponsor has notice of a potential claim against the Consultant and/or the Sponsor based on the Consultant's services under this Agreement, the Consultant, upon written request of the Sponsor, shall retain and preserve its records until the Sponsor has advised the Consultant in writing that the disputed claim is resolved.
