Common use of AUTHORIZATION FOR DUES Clause in Contracts

AUTHORIZATION FOR DUES. In accordance with the requirements of Section 4117.09 (B) (2) of the Ohio Revised Code, upon presentation of a written deduction authorization by the employee, the College shall deduct from the pay due such employee, and turn over to the proper officers of the Lodge, regular monthly Lodge dues, initiation fees, and assessments payable by him or her to the Lodge, during the period provided for in said authorization. The Lodge shall indemnify the College against any and all claims, demands, suits, or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by the College for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this Article.

The Lodge Union shall indemnify the College against any and all claims, demands, suits, or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by the College for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this Article.
