Common use of Authorized Union Representatives Clause in Contracts

Authorized Union Representatives. The officers and stewards of AFSCME employed at the Department and the staff representatives are the authorized representatives of the Union at the Department except that no bargaining unit employee with Team Leader responsibilities may represent non-Team Leader employees as principal representative in grievances or disciplinary actions. The Union agrees to inform the Employer in writing of its’ authorized representatives as such additions or deletions occur.
