Average Salary Sample Clauses

The Average Salary clause defines how an employee's average earnings are calculated over a specified period, typically for the purposes of determining benefits, severance, or compensation adjustments. This clause usually outlines the time frame considered (such as the last 12 months) and specifies which types of compensation are included, such as base salary, bonuses, or commissions. By establishing a clear method for calculating average salary, the clause ensures fairness and consistency in financial determinations, reducing disputes over compensation calculations.
