Avoidance and Minimization Measures. CDPR agrees to implement the following avoidance and minimization measures: • If bullfrogs or any other non-native animal species that may prey on any life stage of California red-legged frogs are detected within an Enrolled Property, CDPR will develop and implement an eradication strategy to remove/reduce the threat of predation within 0.5 mile of the translocation or occupied habitat areas within 1 month of detection, in coordination with the Service. Bullfrog or other non-native animal species control measures will be implemented as resources and funding are available. • CDPR will not intentionally introduce fish species into Baseline habitat areas and is not responsible for unauthorized introductions of fish. • During any maintenance activities, CDPR, or other personnel associated with CDPR, will exercise due diligence to avoid negative effects to listed species. • To ensure that diseases are not conveyed between work sites, the fieldwork code of practice developed by the Declining Amphibian Task Force will be followed at all times.
