BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED. The Contractor shall not allow any Person to provide services under this contract, have access to any State of Florida data, or enter any facility of a Customer until cleared under the standards and procedures provided below. The Contractor agrees that each Person will be screened as a prior condition for performing services, having access to State of Florida data, or entering the facilities of a Customer. The Contractor is responsible for any and all costs and expenses in obtaining and maintaining the criminal background screening information for each Person described above. The Contractor shall maintain documentation of the screening in the Person’s employment file.

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED. Prior to starting work on this Contract and during the term of this Contract, Contractor is required to provide proof that all janitorial staff, including supervisors, management, and subcontractors assigned to this Contract, have passed a minimum of a Live Scan background check. All costs associated with the Live Scan and any other background checks will be borne by the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining the Live Scan or any other backgrounds checks. The Contractor may contact the California Department of Justice for guidance in this matter.
BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED. All Motorola personnel given access to the sites must pass a criminal background check satisfactory to the Customer. Motorola affirms that it checks the criminal records of all applicants for felony convictions and misdemeanor convictions involving a violent act or threat of violence within the seven (7) years prior to employment, where permitted by law. Motorola agrees to discuss the need for background screening of Motorola employees and to negotiate a process that is mutually acceptable and compliant with applicable law. However, in no event can Motorola agree to waive the rights of its employees, nor can Motorola provide the Customer with any information protected by law, including but not limited to background check data.   • Background Check The Department or Customer may require the Contractor to conduct background checks of its employees, agents, representatives, and subcontractors as directed by the Department or Customer. The cost of the background checks will be borne by the Contractor. The Department or Customer may require the Contractor to exclude the Contractor’s employees, agents, representatives, or subcontractors based on the background check results. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that all persons have a responsibility to self-report to the Contractor within three (3) calendar days any arrest for any disqualifying offense. The Contractor must notify the Contract Manager within twenty-four (24) hours of all details concerning any reported arrest. Upon the request of the Department or Customer, the Contractor will re-screen any of its employees, agents, representatives, and subcontractors during the term of the Contract.

  • Background Checks The State may require that the Contractor and Contractor Parties undergo criminal background checks as provided for in the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Administration and Operations Manual or such other State document as governs procedures for background checks. The Contractor and Contractor Parties shall cooperate fully as necessary or reasonably requested with the State and its agents in connection with such background checks.

  • Criminal Background Check It is the Responsibility of CHESAPEAKE CENTER, INC. to make certain that its employees, agents, volunteers, and contractors, who have contact with students receiving services are fingerprinted and have a background check in compliance with Family Law Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, and Section 5-551 through 5-557. CHESAPEAKE CENTER, INC. may not hire, contract, or otherwise engage an individual to participate in this Cooperative Agreement who has been convicted of a crime involving child abuse or neglect; contributing to the delinquency of a minor; a crime of violence as set forth in Criminal Law Article §14-101, Annotated Code of Maryland; or has evidence of a criminal history which in the opinion of Chesapeake Center, Inc. makes the individual unfit to participate in this Cooperative Agreement.

  • Criminal Background Checks Provider and College reserve the right to conduct criminal background checks on Resident to determine Resident’s suitability to live in Residence Facility, and Resident consents and agrees that Provider and College has permission to conduct criminal background checks on Resident.

  • BACKGROUND STATEMENT NCR Voyix and Customer agree that this Agreement will apply to: (a) the subscription licensing to Customer of Software at selected Customer sites and Hosted Software accessed via the internet; (b) the subscription or purchase of Equipment by Customer; and (c) NCR Voyix’s maintenance and support services, if any, for such Software and Equipment, as well as certain other services as set forth herein. Payment processing services are not covered by this Agreement. If NCR Voyix provides payment processing services as part of a Product bundle or otherwise, then such processing services will be covered by separate agreement.
