Background/Criminal History Check. A background/criminal history clearance is required every three years for all employees (including DD program County staff), subcontractors, and/or volunteers who may have unsupervised access to vulnerable DSHS Clients, in accordance with RCW 43.43.830-845, RCW 74.15.030, and chapter 388 WAC. Background/Criminal History Check. The Contractor shall verify a background/criminal history clearance for all employees, subcontractors, and/or volunteers who may have unsupervised access to vulnerable DSHS clients, in accordance with RCW 43.43.830-845, RCW 74.15.030 and chapter 388-06 WAC as part of the hiring process and every three years thereafter.   • Criminal Background Check It is the Responsibility of CHESAPEAKE CENTER, INC. to make certain that its employees, agents, volunteers, and contractors, who have contact with students receiving services are fingerprinted and have a background check in compliance with Family Law Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, and Section 5-551 through 5-557. The District will be the final arbiter of what constitutes direct contact with students.
