Common use of Banking of RDOs Clause in Contracts

Banking of RDOs. (a) Where the company and an employee agree RDO’s may be accrued for the purpose of creating a bank to be drawn upon by the employee at times mutually agreed. Details of such banked RDO’s shall be entered on to each employee’s employment records. (b) RDO’s in excess of five will be paid out at January 31 of each calendar year. (c) Where there is a dispute in relation to the operation of this subclause, the matter will be determined in accordance with Clause 14 – Disputes Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.

Where an employee requests that 3 or more RDO’s be granted in one period the employee shall give the employer one month’s notice of such request. Details of such banked RDO’s shall be entered on to each employee’s employment records. (b) Banked RDO’s in excess of five will be paid out at January December 31 of each calendar year. (c) Where there is a dispute in relation to the operation of this subclause, the matter will be determined in accordance with Clause 14 15 – Disputes Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.
