Bargaining Unit Seniority. Bargaining unit seniority shall be defined as the length of continuous service within the bargaining unit. An employee who was a member of any of the recognized UAW bargaining units as of the date this Agreement is entered into shall be deemed to have bargaining unit seniority equal to their seniority as defined in Section 10.1. The application of bargaining unit seniority shall be limited to the preferences and benefits specifically recited in this Agreement.
