Baseline Review Sample Clauses

A Baseline Review clause establishes a formal process for evaluating and confirming the initial status or condition of a project, service, or deliverable at a specific starting point. Typically, this involves both parties jointly assessing documentation, progress, or compliance with agreed standards before further work proceeds. For example, in a construction contract, the baseline review might verify that site conditions match the plans before building begins. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties have a shared understanding of the starting point, reducing the risk of disputes over subsequent changes or performance issues.
Baseline Review. The Consultants shall review and establish the ecological baseline conditions of the Study Area by making use of the available information from government studies, relevant surveys and baseline reviews and research findings. For this purpose, the following major tasks shall be undertaken:
Baseline Review. Customer has provided an estimate of 10,319 Elements to be managed by Dimension Data in accordance with Schedule 1. Upon execution of this Agreement, the parties shall develop a project plan that shall include a review by Dimension Data to confirm the number of Elements that will be included in the Service. The Customer agrees that to the extent the number of Elements exceeds 10,319 during the term of this Agreement, it shall be liable for additional charges in accordance with the Schedule. To the extent the number of Elements is less than 10,319, Customer shall remain liable for payment as if it was receiving the Service for 10,319 Elements. The review shall take no longer than six (6) weeks following the execution of this Agreement, provided that Customer provides all information necessary during this review to allow Dimension Data to determine which Elements are eligible for the Service.
Baseline Review. 11.2.1.1 Prior to the commencement of construction works, a baseline report shall be prepared to check, record and report the status of the landscape resources (LRs) and landscape character areas (LCAs) within the works areas and the visually sensitive receivers (VSRs) within the visual envelope. Any significant changes to the status of LRs, LCAs and VSRs since the approval of the EIA Report should be identified. The recommended landscape and visual mitigation measures should be reviewed if such change warrants a change in the design of the landscape and visual mitigation measures.
Baseline Review. 11.7.1.1 The study area crosses one of the most historically significant (strategic) waterways in Hong Kong as it was the main route for ships travelling to the Pearl River Estuary and further on to Canton. Both ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ have exceptionally rich and well documented maritime histories including sea battles and pirate infestation. The fort and battery are still in-situ at ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇. 11.7.1.2 The aim of the baseline review is to compile the most significant information to establish the archaeological potential of the seabed within the study area. It is not an exhaustive chronological history of the area. Only incidents and information relevant to the current study are included. 11.7.1.3 The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) holds a database of surveyed shipwrecks in Hong Kong, including those not shown on Admiralty Charts. These charts are particularly useful as they may show wrecks which have been subsequently buried or broken up. They also show the original shore lines prior to any reclamation. The UKHO holds charts of the study area including the French Admiralty for 1856 (Figure 11.6) and 1878 (Figure 11.7) and the British Admiralty Chart 1889 (Figure 11.8). However, the database contained no records of shipwrecks close to the study area. 11.7.1.4 Other early maps of the study area where also reviewed. Tuen Mun is shown on a late 16th century coastal map of ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ by ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ (Figure 11.
Baseline Review. 3.3.1 A baseline review was undertaken to compile a comprehensive inventory of cultural heritage resources of the dredging area. The aim of the baseline review is to compile the most significant information to establish the archaeological potential of the seabed within the study area. It is not an exhaustive chronological history of the area. The Review established the historical profile and potential for cultural heritage sites and included: • Marine charts records held in the UK Hydrographic Office, and National Maritime Museum Library in London; • Publications on local historical, architectural, anthropological, archaeological and other cultural studies; and • Unpublished papers, records, archival and historical documents held in local libraries and other government departments.
