Common use of Basis of Fees Clause in Contracts

Basis of Fees. Fees are determined by counting the Units associated with the applicable Red Hat Product. For example, Subscriptions may be priced based on the number of systems or nodes. You agree to order and pay for the appropriate type and quantity of Red Hat Products based on the Units you use or deploy. If during the term of the Agreement, the actual number of Units you use or deploy exceeds the number of Units you have ordered and paid for, you must promptly report to Red Hat or a Business Partner the number of additional Units used or deployed and the date(s) on which they were used or deployed.
