Common use of BEGINNING OF WORK Clause in Contracts

BEGINNING OF WORK. The Consultant shall commence work pursuant to the Scope of Work attached as Exhibit A hereto upon receipt of written notice to proceed and shall diligently prosecute all work to completion. For each additional service to be performed by the Consultant pursuant to this Agreement, such service shall not commence until the Agency Executive Director has approved, in writing, the scope of such services and the Consultant's compensation for such services, and thereafter delivered a written notice to proceed to the Consultant. Upon the Consultant's receipt of such notice to proceed, the Consultant shall diligently prosecute all work to completion in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. For the purposes of this Agreement, the Agency's execution of this Agreement shall be deemed to be the notice to proceed, and the Consultant shall commence work no later than July 1, 2009.
