Scheduling of Work. Subcontractor shall provide Contractor with scheduling information and a proposed schedule for performance of the Subcontract Work consistent with the Progress Schedule and in a form acceptable to Contractor. Subcontractor shall comply with the Progress Schedule including, but not specifically limited to, commencement, duration, and sequencing of activities. Contractor shall reasonably cooperate with the Subcontractor in scheduling the Subcontract Work and shall attempt, as reasonably possible, to avoid conflicts or interference with the Subcontract Work.

(a) Provisional work schedules shall be posted forty-two (42) calendar days in advance in a place accessible to Employees.
(b) Work schedules shall be confirmed and posted no less than fourteen (14) calendar days in advance.
(c) When an Employee is required to change their shift from the posted and confirmed schedule, as a result of an Employer directive, the Employee shall be paid overtime at the rate of double time (2X) for all shift(s) so changed. It is agreed, however, that in emergency circumstances which could not have been foreseen by the Employer, the double time (2X) rate shall only be paid for the first five (5) shifts so changed.
(d) Where deviation from the posted and confirmed schedule results from Employee initiated changes or where there is mutual agreement with the Employee(s) and the Supervisor, such changes shall not be subject to overtime provisions unless overtime would have been paid irrespective of the change.
(e) Amendments to master rotations shall occur only after consultation with affected Employees.

Scheduling of Work. GENERAL
C1.01 Subject to the conditions and limitations set out in this Agreement, the Employer has the right to determine hours of operation and to establish shift schedules to meet the operational requirements of the hospital.

(c) Set forth dates that are critical to ensuring the timely and orderly completion of the Work in accordance with approved milestones and the requirements of the Contract Documents; and
(d) Provide regular monitoring, updating, and reissuing of the Construction Schedule as construction progresses, consistent with the Project Schedule. Updates and revisions to the Construction Schedule shall be made as reasonably required by Project Manager. Updates shall be prepared at least monthly to incorporate updated detailed scheduling for all activities of the Project, including, without limitation:
(1) Commencement, milestone and completion dates for the phasing of construction activities;
(2) Times of commencement and completion for each Subcontractor and supplier of equipment and material;
(3) Required activity sequences and durations;
(4) Subcontract activities for the Project, including bid preparation for the bid packages, bid dates, bid analysis, and award decision-making;
(5) Sequences of Work including: review periods, activities to obtain building and other permits, and review and approval dates, completion dates, document review periods;
(6) Defined listing of material and equipment items requiring long lead times to procure, including delivery dates and coordinating and expediting activities, as necessary to support the Construction Schedule. Scheduling of Work. 1. Unless specified otherwise in the Job Order, each Job Order will include a Notice to Proceed. The first day of performance under a Job Order shall be the effective date specified therein, or in a separate Notice to Proceed, if applicable. Any preliminary Work started or materials ordered or purchased before receipt of the Job Order, or Notice to Proceed shall be at the risk and expense of the Contractor. The Contractor shall diligently prosecute the Work to completion within the time set forth in the Job Order and the schedule determined pursuant to Article 18 of the Job Order Contract. The period of performance includes allowance for mobilization, holidays, weekend days, inclement weather, and cleanup. Therefore, claims for delay based on these elements will not be allowed. When the Contractor considers the Work complete and ready for its intended use, the Contractor shall request HISD to inspect the Work to determine the status of completion. When HISD determines the Work to be substantially complete, HISD will issue a Certificate of Substantial Completion with a list of items to be completed or corrected prior to final payment for the Job Order. The Contractor shall proceed promptly to complete and correct items on the list.
2. Delivery of materials and equipment shall be made without interference to HISD operations and personnel.
3. Furniture and portable office equipment in the immediate Work area will be moved by the Contractor and replaced to its original location. If the furniture and portable office equipment cannot be replaced to its original location, HISD will designate new locations.
4. The Contractor shall take all precautions to ensure that no damage will result from its operations to private or public property. All damages shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor at no cost to HISD.
5. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary traffic control, such as street blockages, traffic cones, flagmen, etc., as required for each Job Order at no additional cost to HISD. Proposed traffic control methods shall be submitted to HISD for final approval.
Scheduling of Work. The District and Organization acknowledge that much of the work required of Technology technicians must occur outside the normal working day. The Technology Supervisor shall determine weekly work assignment hours based upon work orders received and pending projects with input from Technology technicians. Technology technicians shall work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week.

Shifts in excess of twelve (12) hours affecting current employees shall not be established without the consent of the Union and the affected employee, unless the employee is exercising a ▇▇▇▇▇▇ option pursuant to Section 19.4 (Options of Employees Notified of ▇▇▇▇▇▇).

(1) Where practical, senior employees who are qualified shall be scheduled to receive the maximum number of available hours on the work schedule up to an eight (8) hour day, five (5) day, forty (40) hour week.
