Beginning Teachers Non-Contact Time. ‌ 2.4.1 From the beginning of 2021, a permanent or temporary classroom teacher in their first 12 months of teaching (beginning teacher) in a primary and/or special school will be allocated an additional 60 minutes of non-contact time per week over and above their entitlement to non-contact time prescribed in the Award or other parts of this Agreement. 2.4.2 From the beginning of 2021, a permanent or temporary classroom teacher in their first 12 months of teaching (beginning teacher) in a secondary school will be allocated an additional 70 minutes of non-contact time per week over their entitlement to non-contact time as prescribed in the Award or other parts of this Agreement.

  • BEGINNING TEACHERS 1. Beginning teachers shall be provided with specific teaching conditions to help them in their adjustment to teaching. The specific conditions shall include, but not be limited to a teaching assignment wherein: a. the most demanding classes are not their responsibility, and b. the number of subject preparations are kept to a minimum. 2. The Board and Union shall jointly design mentoring and induction programs.

  • CHANGES IN EMERGENCY AND SERVICE CONTACT PERSONS In the event that the name or telephone number of any emergency or service contact for the Competitive Supplier changes, Competitive Supplier shall give prompt notice to the Town in the manner set forth in Article 18.3.
