Benefits of. In the event of a layoff of a full-time employee, the Hospital shall pay its share of insured benefits premium up to three months from the end of the month in which the layoff occurs or until the laid-off employee is employed elsewhere, whichever occurs first. , When an employee requests and is permitted by the Hospital to transfer to another department or classification, she shall be paid at the starting rate for the classification in the department to which she is transferred for a period of thirty days, thereafter she shall be paid at the one year rate for such classification for a period of sixty days, thereafter she shall be paid at the two year rate for such classification for a period of ninety days and thereafter provided that no employee so transferred shall be entitled to be paid the one year rate, two year rate or maximum rate until she has continuously been employed by the Hospital for one year, two years or three years. When an employee relieves in a higher paid classification within the bargaining unit she shall be paid the rate of the higher classification for all hours worked.
