Boot Reimbursement. Effective January 1, 2025, the District shall increase the safety boot reimbursement benefit from three hundred dollars ($300) every two (2) years to four hundred dollars ($400) every two (2) years for the period January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026, which may be used for safety and/or climbing boots to be used for District work, and which boots must be approved by management and purchased in the applicable two (2) year period. Employees may also utilize this benefit for reimbursement of the cost of rebuilding approved safety and/or climbing work boots which cost was incurred in the applicable two (2) year period. The next two (2) year period shall be January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2028 and continuing thereafter. Employees must submit appropriate receipts to be eligible for reimbursement.
