BURIED CONDUIT Clause Samples

The Buried Conduit clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the installation, protection, and maintenance of conduits that are placed underground. Typically, this clause specifies standards for depth, materials, marking, and the process for locating and repairing conduits if they are damaged during or after installation. For example, it may require that all buried conduits be clearly mapped and that any excavation work in the area follow specific procedures to avoid accidental damage. The core function of this clause is to ensure the safe and reliable placement of underground conduits, minimizing the risk of service interruptions, property damage, or safety hazards.
