Common use of Cageless Clause in Contracts

Cageless. BellSouth shall allow NOS Communications, Inc. to collocate NOS Communications, Inc.’s equipment and facilities without requiring the construction of a cage or similar structure. BellSouth shall allow NOS Communications, Inc. to have direct access to its equipment and facilities. BellSouth shall make cageless collocation available in single bay increments pursuant to Section 7. Except where NOS Communications, Inc.’s equipment requires special technical considerations (e.g., special cable racking, isolated ground plane), BellSouth shall assign cageless Collocation Space in conventional equipment rack lineups where feasible. For equipment requiring special technical considerations, NOS Communications, Inc. must provide the equipment layout, including spatial dimensions for such equipment pursuant to generic requirements contained in BellCore (Telcordia) GR-63-Core and shall be responsible for constructing all special technical requirements associated with such equipment pursuant to Section 6 following.
