CALL-BACK AND STANDBY PAY. (a) Call-Back, Call-In Pay
CALL-BACK AND STANDBY PAY. Where a Commissionaire reports for work on any day as required by the Division, for which the Division is paid;
CALL-BACK AND STANDBY PAY. 31.01 If an employee is called back to work and returns to the workplace either: on a designated paid holiday which is not the employee’s scheduled day of work, or on the employee’s day of rest, or after the employee has completed their work for the day and has left their place of work, or from standby duty; then the employee shall be paid the greater of: (a) a minimum of three (3) hours pay at the employee’s regular rate. These hours shall be counted toward overtime entitlement; or (b) compensation at the applicable overtime rate for time worked, provided that the period worked by the employee is not contiguous to the employee’s normal hours of work. In the application of Article 31.01(a)(i) and (ii) above, a second or subsequent call(s) within the three (3) hour period does not trigger a new minimum. 31.02 Other than when required by the Employer to use a vehicle of the Employer for transportation to a work location other than the employee’s normal place of work, time spent by the employee reporting to work or returning to the employee’s residence shall not constitute time worked.
CALL-BACK AND STANDBY PAY. ‌ 23.1 When an employee is recalled to a place of work for a specific duty, the employee shall be paid the greater of: (a) compensation at the appropriate overtime rate; or (b) compensation equivalent to four (4) hours pay at straight-time rate. This minimum applies only once during each continuous eight (8) hour period. 23.2 An employee who is required to work during off duty hours by responding by phone, e-mail or other electronic means and is not required to return to the workplace, shall be compensated at the greater of: (a) one (1) hour at the straight time rate; or (b) compensation at the applicable overtime rate for time worked. 23.3 When the Employer requires an employee to be available on standby during off-duty hours, an employee shall be entitled to a standby payment of one (1) hour’s pay at the employee’s base salary for each eight (8) consecutive hours or portion thereof that they are on standby. 23.4 An employee designated for standby duty shall be available during the period of standby at a known telephone number and shall be available to return for duty as quickly as possible if called. In designating employees for standby the Employer will endeavor to provide for the equitable distribution of standby duties among readily available qualified employees who are normally required, in their regular duties, to perform that work. 23.5 No standby payment shall be granted if an employee is unable to report for duty when required. 23.6 When an employee reports to work under this Article, the employee shall be paid Call-Back pay.

CALL-BACK AND STANDBY PAY. ‌ (a) Call-Back, Call-In Pay. In accord with Rule 10 of the current Baltimore County Compensation Plan, a Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff First Class, required by the supervisor to return to work after the completion of the employee's regular shift, will receive one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's regular rate of pay for a minimum of four (4) hours on the first call back in a 24-hour period. All call backs after the first will be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's regular rate of pay for actual hours worked. If an employee is called in to work early, and the call-in assignment and regular work shift overlap, the employee will be paid time and one-half (1-1/2) for all hours worked before the start of the regular work shift, with a minimum of two (2) hours.

  • Call Back Pay Employees who are called to report to work on their regular day off or that have been recalled to work after having left the Employer's premises, shall be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours of pay plus travel time at the regular rate of pay for actual hours worked or at the applicable overtime rate, whichever is greater. Employees who are currently guaranteed a minimum of pay greater than two (2) hours shall continue to be paid at the greater minimum. Should the employee be paid for at least eight hours, travel time shall not be paid.

  • Call Back When a part-time employee meets the requirements to receive call-back pay in accordance with clause 28.01 and is entitled to receive the minimum payment rather than pay for actual time worked, the part-time employee shall be paid a minimum payment of four (4) hours pay at the straight-time rate.

  • Call Backs 9.1 Call-back occurs when the employee: (i) is called back to work after completing the day’s work or duty, and having left the place of employment; or (ii) is called back before the normal time of starting work and does not continue working until such normal starting time; Call-back is to be paid at the appropriate overtime rate (clauses 8.2.2 (c) and (d)) for a minimum of three hours, or for actual working and travelling time, whichever is the greater, except that call-backs commencing and finishing within the minimum period covered by an earlier call-back shall not be paid for. Where a call-back commences before and continues beyond the end of a minimum period for a previous call-back, payment shall be made as if the employee had worked continuously from the beginning of the previous call-back, to the end of the later call-back.
