Common use of Call Pay Clause in Contracts

Call Pay. On-call compensation of $3.75 per hour, and $4.25 per hour on 5 holidays, shall be paid when the Employer requires a nurse who is not on duty to 6 remain available to report for work on short notice. A nurse placed on-call shall 7 continue to receive said compensation for the remainder of her/his normal on call 8 shift duration. On-call compensation shall cease, however, in the event the 9 nurse is called in to work.
