Common use of Call Times Clause in Contracts

Call Times. All Owner Operators be given two (2) hours notice, whenever possible, when ordered to report for duty and in no instance shall an Owner Operator be disciplined for failure to report in less than two (2) hours. All Owner Operators who are off duty at their home location and who have not been previously contacted be contacted by the Company during two (2) three (3) hour call windows; one in the morning and two in the evening. These windows will be defined in the local dispatch rules. Drivers will be available at their normal residence during these times or will notify the Company of an alternate contact number.
