Camp Allowance Clause Samples

The Camp Allowance clause defines the financial compensation or benefits provided to employees or contractors for staying at a designated camp or remote worksite. Typically, this allowance covers costs such as accommodation, meals, and incidental expenses incurred while residing at the camp, and may be paid as a daily or weekly rate. Its core practical function is to ensure that individuals working in remote or isolated locations are fairly compensated for the additional living expenses and inconveniences associated with camp life, thereby supporting workforce retention and satisfaction.
Camp Allowance. For each twenty-four (24) hour period spent in a camp setting, a forty dollar ($40.00) camp allowance shall be paid to participating Employees. In the event that an Employee is incapacitated as a result of an accident sustained in the discharge of their duties while participating in this program, it is understood that the provisions of Article 24 shall apply.
Camp Allowance. An employee who is employed at a camp operated for Correctional Services shall receive a camp allowance of twelve dollars ($12.00), in addition to the employee's normal salary, for each scheduled twenty-four (24) hour period or portion thereof during which the employee is employed at the camp.

Camp Allowance. 36.01 An employee who attends an overnight patient recreational/therapeutic activity authorized by the Employer shall be paid, in addition to his Basic Rate of Pay for his normal shift, an allowance of forty dollars ($40.00) for each day at such an activity. Camp Allowance. (a) The parties recognize the value of staff attendance on overnight patient/resident/client recreational/therapeutic activities (“Camp”) authorized by the Employer, as these enhance patient assessment and treatment planning. (b) Accordingly, the parties agree that the following method will be adopted to compensate Employees who volunteer to accompany patients/residents/clients on Camp. (i) An Employee who attends a Camp shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for 7.75 hours of work only. (ii) In addition to the payments in (a) above, an Employee shall be paid an allowance of $70 for each day in attendance at such activity.
Camp Allowance. Employees who while working away are required to reside in camp accommodation and are provided with meals shall be paid an allowance of $50.00 per night plus incidentals allowance of $21.30 in such accommodation.
Camp Allowance. B.3.1 A Teacher who is required to supervise students overnight on a compulsory co-curricular outdoor education program or Junior Campus year level will receive an allowance of $65 per night for the first four consecutive nights. A rate of $85 per night applies for camps of five or more consecutive nights. B.3.2 This allowance applies to overnight excursions and learning camps as approved by the Principal, including interstate and overseas trips, but does not apply where a Teacher voluntarily stays overnight at a camp and is not required in the staffing ratio. B.3.3 These allowances are payable from 1 January 2014 and apply for the duration of this Agreement.
