Common use of Cancellation of Shifts Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of Shifts. (a) The Employer shall provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to Employees, including casual Employees, for a cancellation of a scheduled shift. (b) Where 24 hours' notice has not been provided, the affected Employee will be offered either: (i) a suitable alternative shift, or (ii) the same length of shift at the same or a comparable location. (c) An affected Employee may elect to not work on that occasion, in which case the Employee will not be paid.

Cancellation of Shifts. (a) 25.6.1 The Employer shall provide a minimum of 24 hours' hours notice to Employees, including casual Employees, for a cancellation of a scheduled shift. (b) 25.6.2 Where 24 hours' hours notice has not been providedprovided in accordance with sub-clause 25.6.1, the affected Employee will be offered either: (i) a suitable alternative shift, or (ii) the same length of shift at the same or a comparable location. (c) An affected Employee may elect to not work on that occasion, in which case the Employee will not be paid.

Cancellation of Shifts. If the Employer cancels any scheduled shift without providing at least forty- eight (a48) The Employer shall provide a minimum of 24 hours' ’ notice to Employeesan Employee, including casual Employees, for a cancellation of a scheduled shift. (b) Where 24 hours' notice has not been provided, then the affected Employee following options will be offered eitheravailable to the Employee, at the discretion of the Employer: (i) a suitable alternative shift, orTwo (2) hours of pay at the Basic Rate of Pay; (ii) Complete part, or all, of the same length of shift at the same or a comparable location.Basic Rate of Pay if productive work is available; or (ciii) An affected Employee may elect to not work on that occasion, in which case Reschedule the shift upon mutual agreement between the Employee will not be paidand the Employer.
