Common use of Cancellation or Expiration of the Order Clause in Contracts

Cancellation or Expiration of the Order. If a stop work order issued under this clause is canceled at any time during the period specified in the order, or if the period of the order or any extension of thereof expires, Contractor/Vendor shall have the right to return to work. An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the delivery schedule or Contractor price, or both, and the contract shall be modified in writing accordingly, if; i. the stop work order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the Contractor’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this contract and, ii. Contractor/Vendor asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, if the Chief Procurement Officer decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contract.

Contractor/Vendor b. CONTRACTOR asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 thirty (30) calendar days after the end of the period of work work/services stoppage; provided thatprovided, if the Chief Procurement Officer SECRETARY decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contractagreement.

(1) the stop work order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the Independent Contractor’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this contract contract; and, ii. Contractor/Vendor (2) the Independent Contractor asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, if the Chief Procurement Officer procurement officer decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contract.

An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the delivery schedule or Independent Contractor price, or both, and the contract shall be modified in writing accordingly, if;: i. a) the stop work order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the Independent Contractor’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this contract contract; and, ii. Contractor/Vendor b) Independent Contractor asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, if the Chief Procurement Officer MDCPS decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contract.

If a stop work order Stop Work Order issued under this clause is canceled at any time during the period specified in the orderStop Work Order, or if the period of the order Stop Work Order or any extension of thereof expires, Contractor/Vendor Contractor shall have the right to return to workresume Services. An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the delivery schedule or Contractor price, or both, and the contract this Agreement shall be modified in writing accordingly, if;: i. the stop work order Stop Work Order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the Contractor’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this contract Agreement; and, ii. Contractor/Vendor Contractor asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 thirty (30) days after the end of the period of work Services stoppage; provided that, if the Chief Procurement Officer Commission decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contractAgreement.

The stop work order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the ContractorContract worker’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this contract Agreement; and, ii2. Contractor/Vendor Contract worker asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 thirty (30) days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, if the Chief Procurement Officer ▇▇▇ decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contractAgreement.
