The Carpools clause establishes guidelines and expectations for shared transportation arrangements among individuals, typically within an organization or group. CARPOOLS. A carpool means a vehicle: a. with two or more City employees, originating from the same general geographic area, or along a logical travel-to-work corridor; and b. whose destinations are at or near the same work location; and c. who travel together a minimum of 50% of the trip. ( Said percentage limitation may be waived by the EBD on a case-by-case basis for reasonable causes.) Parking for Carpools shall be in designated lots only.

CARPOOLS. The Employer and Union encourage the use of and participation in carpools.
CARPOOLS. Employee requests for change from one letter shift to another letter shift within the same rotating shift arrangement to get into a carpool will be considered in problem cases which do not involve violations of shift preference or any other Contract provision.

  • Laundry Uniforms provided by the Employer to employees will be laundered by the Employer.

  • FLOORING All Bed Rooms, Dinning-cum-Living, and would be finished with Ivory Vitrified tiles (24'' X 24'') flooring and 4'' skirting. Bath-room, Kitchen & Balcony would be finished with Ivory Ceramic tiles (12'' X 12'') flooring. The walls of the Toilets/Bathrooms would finish with white glazed tiles in 60'' height. Roof would be finished with roof tiles.

  • Lockers Where employees are required to change their uniforms in the course of their normal duties, and where space is available, lockers, which can be locked, shall be provided.

  • Toilets Papers, dust, cobwebs, peels, cans/bottles, cigarette butts, excrement on floor, bad smells, water pools, leaking sewage, rodents, animals (dead or alive), overflowing sanitary bins. 0 = NOT APPLICABLE 1 = UNACCEPTABLE (Toilets out of order. Toilets not cleaned on daily basis.) 2 = POOR (Toilets cleaned, but still visible signs of dirt, e.g. dust, cobwebs.) 3 = GOOD (Obvious sign that toilets are cleaned daily.) 4 = EXCELLENT (Extra effort is put in to ensure cleanliness, e.g. using detergents.)

  • Catering Cafeteria style of serving meals will be acceptable, providing dishes are carried back by the Culinary Staff. The food shall be of good quality and have the approval of the Camp Committee of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario. There shall be sufficient housekeeping staff supplied by the Culinary Workers to keep the bunkhouses clean, and beds shall be made up each day by such staff. Kitchen facilities, equipment and food supplies shall be subject to inspection by the duly authorized Camp Committee at any and all times and further all grievances shall be dealt with by said Committee.
