Common use of Casual Part-Time Clause in Contracts

Casual Part-Time. i) Casual nurses will advise their Patient Care Manager of the dates and tours of which she or he may be available to work for a period of four (4) weeks in advance of the six (6) week schedule (timely availability). ii) A casual part-time nurse who becomes available for work shall notify their Patient Care Manager as soon as a change in circumstances becomes known (late availability). iii) Casual nurses will not be called or scheduled to work until all available hours have been offered to regular part-time nurses who do not incur a premium.
