Catastrophic Coverage. In addition to the eligibility requirements listed above, individuals applying for a Catastrophic plan must also meet one of the following requirements. Catastrophic plans must be purchased through the Marketplace to determine eligibility. i. be under the age of 30; or ii. qualify for and have received a hardship exemption from the Marketplace.
