Ceiling Prices Sample Clauses

The Ceiling Prices clause sets a maximum limit on the amount that can be charged or paid for specific goods, services, or work under a contract. In practice, this means that regardless of actual costs incurred or price fluctuations, the total payment cannot exceed the agreed ceiling price. This clause is commonly used in contracts where costs are uncertain, such as construction or supply agreements. Its core function is to protect the buyer from unexpected cost overruns and provide budget certainty by capping financial exposure.
