Common use of CERTIFICATE RENEWAL Clause in Contracts

CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. It shall not be Our incumbent to give notice of renewal to the Participant. The contribution for the renewal of the Certificate Schedule shall be deemed to be due on the date on which the Certificate Schedule expires. However, We shall remain liable for fourteen(14) days from the expiry date of the Certificate Schedule provided that by the last day of the said fourteen (14) days the renewal contribution is actually paid unless We or the Participant had given notice that the Certificate Schedule would not be renewed. The Certificate Schedule shall not in any event be renewable when the Covered Person attains the age of eighty (80) years old.
