Common use of Change in Assignments Clause in Contracts

Change in Assignments. If an employee is at work during the day when an emergency is declared and is assigned to work a night shift and is sent home, the employee will be compensated as follows: 15.4.1 If an employee has been at work for up to but not more than two (2) hours the employee will be paid for two (2) hours at the straight time rate. 15.4.2 If an employee has been at work for more than two (2) hours but not more than four (4) hours the employee will be paid for four (4) hours at the straight time rate. 15.4.3 If an employee has been at work for more than four (4) hours the employee will be paid for eight (8) hours at the straight time rate.
