Common use of Change in Scope Clause in Contracts

Change in Scope. For modifications in authorized scope of services or project scope and/or modifications of drawings and/or specifications previously accepted by the CLIENT, when requested by the CLIENT and through no fault of the CONSULTANT, the CONSULTANT shall be compensated for time and expense required to incorporate such modifications at CONSULTANT’s standard hourly rates. Provided, however, that any increase in contract price or contract time must be requested by the CONSULTANT and must be approved through a written supplemental agreement prior to performing such services. CONSULTANT shall correct or revise any errors or deficiencies in its designs, drawings or specifications without additional compensation when due to CONSULTANT’s negligence, error or omission.
