Common use of Changes in Permission Clause in Contracts

Changes in Permission. Covered Entity will notify Business Associate of any changes in or revocation of permission by an Individual to use or disclose PHI, to the extent that such changes may affect Business Associate’s use or disclosure of PHI or impose obligations on Business Associate additional to or inconsistent with the obligations assumed hereunder. In the event that any such change in or revocation of permission materially increases Business Associate’s cost of providing services under this BAA, Covered Entity agrees to reimburse Business Associate for such increase in cost.
