Common use of Changes to Prices Clause in Contracts

Changes to Prices. The Franchisee may request permission from the Secretary of State from time to time to increase any Prices or Child Prices beyond the levels permitted under Schedules 5.4 (Regulation of Fares Basket Values) and 5.5 (Regulation of Individual Fares) in connection with any proposed or actual improvement in any aspect of the Passenger Services relating to such Fares. The Secretary of State shall act reasonably in relation to any such request but shall not under any circumstances be obliged to accept any such request in whole or in part.
