Charitable Payments in Lieu of Membership/Fair Share. A nurse who is a 28 member of and adherent to teachings of a bona fide religion, body or sect 29 which has historically held conscientious objection to joining or supporting a 30 labor organization, or an RN who does not desire to join or pay fair share for 31 personal reasons, will not be required to join or financially support the 32 Association, but will in lieu of such financial support pay sums equal to "fair 33 share" dues to Asante Foundation or to the Children’s Miracle Network, and 34 will provide the Association with proof of payment on request. Funds 1 collected by the Asante Foundation as a "fair share" payment will be used to 2 establish an educational fund for Registered Nurses employed by Asante
