Chronic Conditions. If the insured person is insured under the Essential policy option, the insured person does not have cover for costs relating to the maintenance of chronic conditions. For Advance, Excel and Apex policy options, cover up to the limits in the benefit schedule are a maximum limit per period of cover and not per medical condition.
