Common use of Claims Data Retention Clause in Contracts

Claims Data Retention. ESI will retain ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s claims data for the greater of ten (10) years from the date the prescription is filled or the period required by law. Thereafter ESI will dispose of such data in accordance with its standard policies and practices and applicable state and federal law. Disposition of PHI shall be in accordance with the Business Associate Agreement.
