Clamps. I. pipes in shafts and other locations shall be supported by M.S. clamps of design approved by the Independent Engineer. Pipe in wall chases shall be anchored by iron hooks. Pipes at ceiling level shall be supported on structural clamps fabricated from M.S. structural as described in section II. Pipes in typical shafts shall be supported on slotted angles/ channels as specified elsewhere.
