Class (or Class Option) Layoff List Sample Clauses

The Class (or Class Option) Layoff List clause establishes a system for identifying and organizing employees within a specific job classification or option who may be subject to layoff. In practice, this clause details how employees are ranked—often by seniority or other criteria—within their class, and how this list is used to determine the order in which layoffs occur. By providing a clear and structured method for managing layoffs, the clause ensures fairness and transparency in workforce reductions, minimizing disputes and confusion during the layoff process.
